Welcome! Thank you for visiting my personal website! My name is Ranthony (RAN-THUH-KNEE) Ashley Clark Edmonds and I am a Ross Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University.
My research area is Commutative Ring Theory. My postdoctoral mentor is Dr. Alan Loper and my doctoral advisor was Dr. Daniel D. Anderson. My research interests include factorization in commutative rings, evidence based practices for the teaching of mathematics online, and equity and diversity in mathematics.
I earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics in 2018 from the University of Iowa. Before this I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I graduated in 2013 with a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences under the advisement of Dr. Patrick Costello.
In 2011, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in African-American Studies from the University of Kentucky.
